WINCLIP is a utility program designed to transfer bitmap information from
the Windows Clipboard to a file which can be subsequently linked into
Microsoft Word 5.0 documents.  While Word apparently boasts the same
capability, it is in practice limited in several ways.  WINCLIP can
overcome these limitations and allow you to freely transfer bitmap
information from Windows applications to Microsoft Word 5.0.

Please recognize that in fulfilling our desire to have this software
reach you as quickly as possible we have chosen to bypass normal marketing

Notes and Helpful Hints:

If you receive an "Insufficient Memory" message while attempting to get
a bitmap from the clipboard, try closing your other Windows applications,
and then getting the bitmap.  The bitmap will remain in the clipboard even
if you close the application that placed it there.

You must have a BITMAP in the clipboard, and not a PICTURE.  If you have
a BITMAP, WINCLIP will enable the Clipboard-Get Bitmap option.  You can
use the Windows CLIPBRD application to check and see what is actually
in the clipboard.
